Very smooth, mellow with low acidity and a slight earthiness, characteristic of dry-processed coffees. Santos is naturally sweet and displays chocolate undertones at medium to dark roast levels. A medium to good body.

Named after the port from which the vast majority of coffee in Brazil is shipped and benefiting from the good weather in the Sao Paulo region, these coffee cherries are processed by drying in the sun. The Santos beans are dried inside their cherries, which carries sweetness into every cup. The sugars from the drying cherry also impart more soluble solids to the bean which amplifies its body.
